JDCSO searching for second missing person

Jefferson Davis County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for the second missing person this month.

The JDCSO, along with the Hathorn family, is asking for the public’s help in locating 54-year-old Thomas Hathorn of Bassfield.

The Hathorn family reported that Thomas has been missing since July 12.

According to authorities, family members stated that Thomas would disappear for a few days, but would always come back.

They are fearful because this time it has been longer than normal.

Hathorn was last seen at Auto Credit of Collins which is located at 2538 Highway 49.

He drives a grey 2013 Chevrolet Equinox.
