Madonna, 66, is 'frail and fearful' as toyboy boyfriend, 28, rushes to protect her in scary scenes

Madonna's new boyfriend jumped into action as he rushed to protect her from fans in New York City .

The Queen of Pop , 66, was spotted leaving the Off-White party at NYFW with her 28-year-old toyboy boyfriend Akeem Morris on Sunday night. Akeem kept tight hold of Madonna's hand as they made their way through the crowd.

A fan tried to grab the singer before she and Akeem were ushered into a blacked-out car. Body language expert Judi James suggested Madonna seemed "fearful" during the incident and said the singer looked more frail than usual .

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror US, James said: "With one hand steadying her as she leans against the car and the other held up in front of her torso in what looks like a barrier ritual Madonna looks even more frail than usual here during a walk through the fans that saw her being seemingly mobbed.

"Her huge shades hide her face and her head is down but at one point her mouth seems to be open, which could be an expression of shock or fear." For the outing, Madonna wore a colorful striped top and faded dark blue jeans. She added a pair of dark sunglasses and several chunky gold necklaces.

Akeem opted for a casual outfit, wearing a graphic T-shirt and oversized beige trousers. He accessorized with two gold chains and a pair of dark brown sunglasses.

James noted the heavy security detail following the couple and said Akeem looked as though he was trying to keep Madonna safe. She explained: "Her security looks tight but she also has Akeem in what looks like protective mode.

"In one pose he walks in front, towing her behind with her hand in his and his hand held at an angle that signals he is tucking her behind him. In another pose, as she leans a hand onto the car, he stands behind her with his hand outstretched and his eyes appearing to scan the crowd or the area for any signs of danger."

Madonna and Akeem first met during her Paper Magazine cover shoot in August 2022 and made headlines when they seemed to confirm their romance as they cozied up together on the Fourth of July. Their relationship comes after Madonna split from her son's former boxing coach Josh Popper, 30, earlier this year.

It's believed Madonna has some strict rules for her new man to live by as a source has claimed Madonna chooses when Akeem can sleep and what he can eat. The source explained to Life and Style magazine: "Madonna spoils Akeem with clothes and gifts and first-class travel, but everything is always on her terms."

They continued: "She's very strict with everyone in her life and just because he's sharing her bed he doesn't get a pass. That means he has to go to sleep when she does, get up when she does, eat the same diet as she does."
