Taylor Swift 'spends $42,000 on lavish gifts' for Travis Kelce before time apart for NFL season

Taylor Swift reportedly showed her adoration for boyfriend Travis Kelce just ahead of her appearance at his football game .

The pop star was spotted in the stands once again as the Kansas City Chiefs took to the field at Arrow Head Stadium. Before Taylor entered the stadium wearing a denim corset top, matching shorts, and red thigh-high boots, she is said to have given Travis over $42,000 of gifts, including designer clothes and bags.

The 34-year-old was reportedly motivated to give the gifts as a going away present of sorts. Travis' upcoming work schedule will put him on the road frequently as his team faces off against others as they seek another stab at the Super Bowl title.

Taylor made the start of football season extra special as she picked out the presents, some of which in his team's red color. An insider told The US Sun : "The team is going back on the road for some many nice and long trip around the country, so that was a very nice move and idea from Taylor."

She was mindful of the upcoming cooler weather, purchasing "a turtleneck, jacket, coat, and a cardigan that he saw in Paris and that he kept talking to her about for a while." He also received a pair of Louis Vuitton's Keepall Bandouliere 50 keepalls with one valued at $4,000 and the other at $4,000. Plus, she purchased a $2,060 cashmere cardigan, a $1,450 silk and cashmere turtleneck, and a $560 beanie.

To help on the road, she reportedly gifted him a $11,100 rolling truck and a $1,130 toiletry bag. The source added: "He is all set with all those items ... as he likes to bring tons of stuff with him when he travels with the team, or even when he travels to go attend events and with Taylor and Travis is like a 'lion in a cage' for the start of this new season."

The pair have grown accustomed to long stretches apart as, from the beginning of their relationship, they've balanced hectic schedules. Last football season, Taylor made an appearance at a handful of Chiefs' games while Travis jetted off across the world to a few dates of the Eras Tour, even joining the Bad Blood singer on stage.
