DAYTON — Bryan College recently announce the establishment of its new coed equestrian team, creating an exciting opportunity for students to engage in equestrian sports regardless of their level of riding experience.

This initiative invites students from diverse academic backgrounds to develop their equestrian skills and participate in competitions within a supportive and encouraging environment.

“What distinguishes the Bryan Equestrian Team is its commitment to inclusivity across all majors,” school officials said. “Whether you are a beginner or an experienced equestrian, our team welcomes your enthusiasm for horseback riding and competition, allowing you the flexibility to pursue your interests alongside your academic pursuits.”

The team will compete under the auspices of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), participating in classes such as horsemanship, ranch riding, and reigning. With a steadfast focus on sportsmanship, horsemanship, and academic excellence, the equestrian team operates under a Biblical worldview that positions Christ at the heart of all its endeavors.

“To enhance accessibility for all interested students, the Bryan Equestrian Team is proud to announce its partnership with Dreaming Big Farms, which will provide horses for our riders,” school officials said. “This collaboration effectively eliminates the barrier of horse ownership, allowing all students to partake in the excitement of equestrian sports.

“Additionally, we need non-riding team members! If you possess a passion for grooming, horse care, or event organization, we cordially invite you to join our community and contribute to the team’s success.

“We invite you to become part of this exciting new chapter at Bryan College”
