Someone in Texas just won the $810 million Mega Millions jackpot, according to the Mega Millions website .
Only one ticket matched all six balls in Tuesday night's draw to win the seventh largest Mega Millions jackpot ever. It was also the 17th largest jackpot won in U.S. lottery history (See lists below).
The winning ticket was sold at the Murphy's Express gas station on Highway 90A in Sugar Land, Texas.
The winner can also choose the $409.3 million cash option. The final jackpot amount will be based on actual sales.
The Mega Millions jackpot was estimated at $800 million prior to Tuesday's drawing, however sales were better than expected and jackpot ended up high based on actual sales.
The jackpot had last been won on June 4 when a lottery player in Illinois won $552 million .
The Mega Millions jackpot will now reset to $20 million for Friday night's drawing.
N.Y., Florida, Washington, California tickets win big
In addition to the jackpot winner, four tickets matched five white balls to win million-dollar prizes.
Tickets in New York, Florida and Washington won $1 million each, while a ticket in California won $605,656 because non-jackpot prizes are based on actual sales in the state.
