Leadership Texarkana Accepting Applications

Applications for the Leadership Texarkana's annual flagship class program for 2023-24 are available and can be found and completed online at LeadershipTexarkana.com; the deadline for application is midnight June 20. Application is a competitive process, with the numbers of participants accepted annually limited in size by multiple factors and organizational priorities.
On Thursday, June 8, LT will host an after-hours recruitment social at Verona's from 5PM-6:30 for Texarkana-area residents interested in applying for the Leadership Texarkana Class of 2024.
The annual Leadership Texarkana Class is designed to engage and equip citizens from throughout Texarkana USA to effectively step up and lead the way in working together for community excellence. The program features outstanding participants from all backgrounds, professions and sectors; excellent monthly day-long programs for understanding community priorities and the leadership needed to make a difference; connections to community leaders in all sectors–a backstage pass invaluable and eye-opening to natives and newcomers alike.
The 2023-2024 program year will kick-off in mid-September with a mandatory two-day retreat September 12 and 13, followed by monthly day-long sessions on SECOND (or occasional FIRST) Tuesdays from Oct-May. Attendance is expected of all applicants; attendance at opening retreat and ending session is mandatory.
