Chelmsford Police Investigate After Gunman Shoots ATM at Local Ice Cream Stand
Mayhem hit a Chelmsford creamery early Friday when a gunman turned an ATM into target practice, police are investigating. According to a report by MassLive, the officers descended upon Sully’s Ice Cream Stand on Graniteville Road around 7:20 a.m. and discovered the bullet-riddled cash machine along with shell casings nearby. The Chelmsford Police determined the ATM had been shot nine times. Fortunately, the assailant failed to penetrate the money compartment.
