...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...

Wabash River at Covington and Montezuma.

.Rainfall of one inch or more earlier this week is now expected to
take the Wabash River at Covington and Montezuma back into minor
flood briefly over the next couple of days. Crests are likely to be
less than one foot above flood stage in both locations, well below
levels experienced earlier this month.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement should be issued this evening by around 1100 PM
EDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...From this evening to Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along
the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of
Montezuma begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 13.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 14.8 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

This local church invites you to its weekend rummage sale

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Terre Haute is inviting you to their rummage sale this Saturday.

It's the congregation's biggest fundraiser of the year, which they rely on for their budget.

Members say you won't want to miss this year's sale.

"We have antiques and special finds. We have some things that are new in the boxes. So really, it's just a bit of everything that you're gonna find," Coordinator Kristy Meyers said.

The rummage sale is this Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon at the congregation on 1875 South Fruitridge Avenue.
