...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...

Wabash River at Covington and Montezuma.

.Rainfall of one inch or more earlier this week is now expected to
take the Wabash River at Covington and Montezuma back into minor
flood briefly over the next couple of days. Crests are likely to be
less than one foot above flood stage in both locations, well below
levels experienced earlier this month.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement should be issued this evening by around 1100 PM
EDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...From this evening to Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along
the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of
Montezuma begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 13.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 14.8 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

New pet grooming business opens in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A new pet grooming business is ready to welcome you. On Monday, "Hoosier's Dog-Gone Grooming" held its grand opening.

The business offers nail trimming, pedicures, baths and hygiene care for dogs.

You'll find the business on Thomas Avenue in Terre Haute. The owner says she was already working with dogs, so opening her own business made sense.

"To me, it means everything to me because I've been through a lot in my lifetime. So if you asked me if I ever thought I'd get here, I would've told you no," Owner Amber Jones said.

She hopes to expand in the coming years to dog boarding.
