TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Update: A motorcycle vs vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital Sunday.
According to a Terre Haute Police crash report, the incident occurred at approximately 8:17 p.m. Sunday evening at the intersection of College and Fruitridge avenues.
Investigating officers found that the driver of an SUV approaching Fruitridge Avenue off College Avenue failed to yield the right of way as it attempted to turn northbound onto Fruitridge.
The motorcycle carrying two riders had been headed southbound on Fruitridge and crashed into the rear driver side of the SUV, ejecting both people from the bike.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 31-year-old Pimento man was incapacitated and taken to an area hospital. The motorcycle passenger a 37-year-old Terre Haute woman was taken to an area hospital as well.
The driver of the SUV, a 17-year-old Terre Haute boy, was uninjured in the crash. Police listed failure to yield the right of way as the primary factor in the crash.

THPD confirmed that the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were hurt in the crash and have been transported to a local hospital.
The crash happened at the intersection of College Avenue and Fruitridge Avenue in Terre Haute.
The intersection was closed for a time but has since reopened.
