Social media reacts to ASU coach Kenny Dillingham landing yet another top QB in Butter Tollefson

Kenny Dillingham has brought his reputation as an elite quarterback developer over to Tempe already, as the Sun Devils are already loaded with talent at the position and just added what could their quarterback of the future in Califronia four-star Butter Tollefson. There were a lot of reactions to the big-time get on social media.

Some media members are blown away by what Dillingham has already accomplished in his short six months at ASU. Tollefson is now part of four top quarterbacks that Dillingham has already added in his short time with ASU, joining incoming four-star freshman Jaden Rashada, Notre Dame transfer Drew Pyne and BYU transfer Jacob Conover.

ASU players and commits also expressed their excitement in landing Tollefson.

Dillingham himself was obviously ecstatic with the big news, and he posted a picture of Brock Osweiler to celebrate.

He hinted at the news yesterday and mentioned that another commitment could be coming ASU’s way on Thursday.

His staff was delighted as well.

According to MaxPreps, Tollefsson completed 146-of-279 passes for 1,567 yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games played his 2022 sophomore season. He also rushed 162 times for 644 yards and nine touchdowns, proving his versatility as a passer and runner.

Fans are very happy with all of the changes the new head coach has already brought to the program.

A new era is just beginning in Tempe and Tollefson could be the face of the future of it.
