Arizona is working on putting together the 2024 recruiting class under head coach Jedd Fisch. On Monday, the Wildcats added another piece to the puzzle with a 3-star defensive lineman out of California.

The player is Kaho Tuihalamaka, a 6-foot-4 and 340-pound prospect out of Mater Dei High School. Tuihalamaka’s recruitment took a while to pick up steam but Arizona recently offered the DL in April.

Prior to that offer, Hawaii and Oklahoma State were pursuing Tuihalamaka before he committed to the Wildcats.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Tuihalamaka is rated as a 3-star recruit and the No. 112 DL in the country for the class of 2024. He’s the first DL prospect to commit to Arizona in the cycle.

The addition of Tuihalamaka brings Arizona up to 5 players committed for the 2024 recruiting class.
