Beaumont Animal Care is celebrating Adopt-a-Cat month in June with reduced adoption fees of $20 for all cats and kittens. The fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, first set of vaccines, flea prevention, and dewormer.

Texas Neighborhood Terrorized By Massive Alligator
Texas is of course known for all things big. That apparently includes random alligators walking through a neighborhood. According to the Dallas Morning News a huge alligator with three legs was caught walking around early Sunday morning. One resident told KTRK that he had seen the alligator the night before.
Dallas-based developer shares proposed Pleasure Island water park plan to Port Arthur City Council
PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Port Arthur city leaders are hoping to beat the heat in Southeast Texas by working with investors to bring a water park to Pleasure Island. A representative from a Dallas-based development group presented the idea to city council members and Port Arthur Mayor Thurman Bartie on Tuesday.
