We've compiled a list of meal deals, special events, and mouth-watering offerings at local eateries and markets to consider when planning your next night on the town, or a quick stop for a tasty treat.

This week, Taunton Eats features some Easter menus, buffets, and take-home dinners for anyone who celebrates Easter and is looking for something extra-special for dinner:

Easter buffet at Brack’s Grille & Tap

Brack’s Taunton location, 2097 Bay St., is offering an Easter dinner buffet on Sunday, April 9, with seatings available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The menu includes warm rolls, baked ham, and scalloped potatoes, among a number of offerings. They’ve also got cakes, cookies and pastries for dessert and there is a kids’ menu available. The buffet is $27.99 for adults and children 12 and under eat for $15.99. To reserve a spot, call 508-824-7777. Dine-in and take-out options are available.

Best of both worlds: Easter dinners at Barrels & Boards

Over at Barrels & Boards, 1285 Broadway, Raynham, you can enjoy your Easter dinner there, or bring one home. Get ahead of the game and make your Easter dinner reservations today, by calling 508-738-6630. Or, you can place an order through their Marketplace, for an Easter Sunday Family Dinner. There are three choices for dinner, and each can be ordered to serve six or twelve guests:

  • Prime rib dinner: prime rib, whipped potatoes, green beans, candied carrots, au-jus, and buttered dinner rolls
  • Honey-baked ham: ham, whipped potatoes, green beans, candied carrots, pineapple relish, and buttered dinner rolls
  • Herb-crusted tenderloin: tenderloin, whipped potatoes, green beans, candied carrots, horseradish cream sauce, and dinner rolls

Plus, they’ve got appetizers, including shrimp cocktail and stuffy platters, and crispy stir-fried brussel sprouts.

Orders will be accepted until Wednesday, April 5, at 3 p.m. There must be a credit card on file to hold the order, but you can pay with the card on file or cash on the day you pick it up.

On Easter Sunday, April 9, pick-up at the Marketplace begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.

Already have dinner squared away? The Local Eatery, 16 Wareham St., Middleboro, has you covered for dessert. They’ve got an Easter menu packed with treats like hot cross buns and chocolate Easter bunnies, as well as scrumptious desserts like key lime cheesecake, petit fours, and fruit tarts, among others. There are also savory options, like quiche lorraine.

Make Easter reservations at Home Plate Bay Street Grill

Home Plate Bay Street Grill, 1094 Bay St., Taunton, is taking Easter reservations. They’re hosting an Easter Sunday Brunch on April 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu includes fresh fruit, scrambled eggs with cheddar, cinnamon swirl French toast, Virginia-baked ham with grilled pineapple, baked haddock with crabmeat stuffing, and more. They’ve got desserts too, like chocolate molten lava cake, classic cannoli, and New York-style cheesecake. Brunch for adults is $28.99 and kids 10 and under eat for $15.99.
