Teen arrested in fatal Yonkers motor vehicle crash
YONKERS – A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged with the felony of leaving the of scene of an accident resulting in death in Yonkers. The investigation found that the suspect and a 21-year-old man, identified as Jadon Bennett of Yonkers, had been involved in a verbal altercation over an online marketplace transaction.
Norwood: Police Appeal to the Public for Help Locating 13-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing
The NYPD is seeking the public’s help locating a 13-year-old girl from Norwood reported missing on Monday, March 18. Police said Ashley Dilone Gomez of East 212th Street, between Bainbridge Avenue and Dekalb Avenue, was last seen leaving her home at around 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 16. She is described as female, Hispanic, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing gray and black pajamas.
Officials: 2 Peruvian nationals charged in ‘distraction theft’ scheme at Trader Joe’s, other stores
Two people from Peru are facing federal charges in a credit card fraud and identity theft scheme, the U.S. Department of Justice announced on Wednesday. Officials say 34-year-old Angel Giancarlo Bellido Cosio, also known as “Jesus Requejo,” last residing in Paterson, and 60-year-old Angel Eugenio Bances Chaponan, last residing in Queens, New York, are accused of victimizing shoppers at Trader Joe's and at other retail stores.

IDs released for two men killed in robbery at Mount Vernon cannabis warehouse
The two men who died in last week's botched robbery at a Mount Vernon cannabis warehouse, one a robber and another an employee, have been identified by Westchester County. According to the Medical Examiner's Office, the employee who was killed was Salem Rabadi, who died from internal bleeding caused by a gunshot wound to his stomach. The dead robber was Romano Acosta. He was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot in the head and neck.
