OUTSIDE, DAMIAN. LOOK AT THAT. TIPS RIGHT NOW. 71 DEGREES. YOU CAN ASK FOR A BETTER DAY IF YOU’RE GOING OUTSIDE TO GET A NICE GOOD LUNCH TODAY. WHATEVER YOU WANT TO EAT. SOME TACOS, RED BEANS AND RICE. THAT’S ON MONDAYS. SOME CHICKEN. IT’S A GOOD DAY FOR THAT. REGARDLESS, ANY NUMBER OF DIFFERENT THINGS, SECURITY OUTSIDE, EVEN LIKE A LITTLE NICE TABLE, SABLE. YOU KNOW? ABSOLUTELY. AND, YOU KNOW, THE THE TEMPERATURES, YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THEM TODAY. NO, BECAUSE THEY ARE HIGHER THAN THEY WERE THIS TIME YESTERDAY. SO MUCH BETTER. IT WAS GOOD TO GO ON A RUN TODAY VERSUS ON MONDAY WHEN I HAD TO LISTEN TO YOU. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS, ALWAYS LISTEN TO ME. YOU SAY, IS IT BAD IF I SAY YOU’RE ALWAYS RIGHT OR NOT? THAT’S OKAY. OKAY, COOL. ALL RIGHT. WELL, I’LL TELL YOU WHAT. YOU’RE RIGHT TO IT. WE’RE LOOKING PRETTY GOOD. YOU KNOW, THE CLOUD COVER IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO INCREASE ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AS WE GO THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING. LET ME SHOW YOU THE NATIONAL PICTURE, BECAUSE WE’RE JUST TALKING ABOUT CALIFORNIA. BUT IF YOU LOOK OUT WEST, YOU’RE GETTING A BIT OF A BREAK TODAY, NOT MUCH IN TERMS OF RAINFALL OUT THERE OR ACROSS THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AT ALL. IT’S ALL MOVING ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY RIGHT NOW. THE COMBINATION OF RAINFALL AND SNOWFALL IN THIS ENTIRE REGION THAT LOW PRESSURE AREA, THIS HEADED TOWARDS THE GREAT LAKES STATES. WE ARE GOING TO BE IMPACTED BY THE FRONT THAT’S ASSOCIATED WITH THAT. THAT’S MOVING ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS RIGHT NOW. THAT WILL BE MOVING THROUGH OUR AREA TOMORROW MORNING, BRINGING IN SOME OF THE SAME RAINFALL THAT YOU SEE. THAT’S OFF TO THE WEST OF US RIGHT NOW. HIGH PRESSURE BEING ALL THE WAY OFF THE EAST COAST NOW AS MEANING MEANS FOR US THAT OUR WINDS ARE OUT OF THE SOUTH SOUTHEAST AND THEY’VE PICKED UP QUITE A BIT. THE PRESSURE GRADIENTS GETTING A LITTLE BIT TIGHTER. SO THE WARMTH AND MOISTURE FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO HAS RETURNED NOT ONLY TO US BUT TO EVERYONE ACROSS THE SOUTHEASTERN UNITED STATES AT THE AIRPORT. CLOUDY SKIES, 71 DEGREES, BUT THE DEW POINTS NOW IN THE FIFTIES. AND WHILE FOR THE MOST PART, THAT’S PRETTY DRY AIR, IT’S MUCH HIGHER THAN IT WAS THIS MORNING. AND EVEN HIGHER THAN IT WAS YESTERDAY MORNING. THE WINDS OUT OF THE SOUTH RIGHT NOW, IT’S 16 MILES PER HOUR. SO HERE’S THE CLOUD COVER THAT CONTINUES TO MAKE ITS WAY INTO OUR AREA. NO RAINFALL AROUND RIGHT NOW. ONLY A SMALL CHANCE THAT WE’LL SEE AN ISOLATED SHOWER OR TWO THIS AFTERNOON. NOT MUCH OF ANYTHING SHOWING UP ON THE ON THE MODEL. AS YOU CAN SEE, THE SOUTHERLY WINDS CONTINUE ALL AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING. THEN HERE’S THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY THAT ROLLS INTO OUR AREA ON FRIDAY MORNING AND IT’S PROBABLY GOING TO START RAINING ON WHAT SOME STORMS ON THE NORTH SHORE AROUND SEVEN OR 8 A.M. AND THEN STRETCH ACROSS THE RIVER PARISHES AS WE GO INTO NINE AND TEN AND OTHER PARTS OF THE SOUTH SHORE AS WELL AS WE GO TO MID TO LATE MORNING AND INTO THE AFTERNOON AS WELL. LOOKS LIKE MOST OF THIS IS OUT OF THE AREA BY ABOUT THREE, TWO OR 3 P.M. IN THE AFTERNOON TOMORROW, LEAVING US WITH SOME CLOUDY SKIES AND NORTHERLY WINDS NOW. SO THE TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO START TO DROP THIS YEAR. THE DEW POINTS ARE GOING TO GO DOWN. THE AIR IS MUCH DRIER. THE QUALCOMM IS GOING TO STICK AROUND. BUT THE RAIN, CHANCES ARE GOING TO GO WAY DOWN ON SATURDAY, TOO. SO OVERALL, 70 IS LOOKING LIKE A GOOD DAY, JUST KIND OF CLOUDY AND A LITTLE BIT ON THE COLD SIDE BECAUSE THE AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL ONLY BE IN THE FIFTIES. SUNDAY IS LOOKING LIKE A PRETTY GOOD DAY. MAYBE A LITTLE LESS CLOUD COVER WILL BE WITH US AND THE TEMPERATURES ABOUT THE SAME MID TO THE UPPER FIFTIES. SO TOMORROW IF YOU’RE WITH ME THIS MORNING PARTS OF TANJIRO AND WASHINGTON PARISH WERE NOT UNDER A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER. NOW THEY ARE ALL OF US ARE UNDER A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER, INCLUDING HANCOCK AND PEARL RIVER COUNTIES. GUSTY WINDS ARE THE PRIMARY ISSUE FOR TOMORROW AND IT LOOKS LIKE TORNADOES ARE A LOW THREAT, ALTHOUGH IT IS A THREAT. SO KEEP THAT IN MIND AS WELL. HOW MUCH RAIN ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? MOST OF IT’S ON THE NORTH SHORE, ALMOST TWO INCHES IN HAMMOND AND OVER TOWARDS BOGALUSA. THE REST OF US UNDER AN INCH OF RAINFALL THROUGHOUT THE DAY TOMORROW. THE WINDS, AS YOU CAN SEE, BLOWING FROM 10 TO 20 MILES PER HOUR RIGHT NOW, GUSTING UP TO 26 MILES PER HOUR. AND WE’LL PROBABLY SEE THOSE WINDS GUSTING EVEN HIGHER THAN THAT, UP TO 30 MILES PER HOUR AS WE GO INTO YOUR FRIDAY. HERE’S A QUICK LOOK AT YOUR SEVEN DAY FORECAST AFTER THAT TERRIBLE WEATHER TOMORROW. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ARE LOOKING PRETTY GOOD. THE COOLER AIR STAYS WITH US ON MONDAY. 30% CH
