Mrs. Margaret Ann Cooper Fowler, age 73, of Franklinton, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 4:27 am. After working many years as a loan officer, she retired from The Bank of Winnfield in Winnfield, Louisiana. She spent her life doing the work of the Lord, not only as a minister's wife, but also as a gifted speaker herself. Her messages were always of love and faithfulness to Christ. She was a loving mother to three children, who she raised with a firm, yet nurturing hand. She was a loving and supportive wife. She was also a loving sister to four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She always enjoyed getting together with her family.

In loving memory of Frank Enly Erwin Sr. who was called home to meet his savior on Monday, June 5th, 2023. Frank is survived by his immediate family, his wife of 66 years, Barbara Ann Hays Erwin. He is preceded in death by a daughter Drew Ann Erwin Bourdonnay and a son Frank Enly Erwin Jr. He is survived by a daughter Leisha Marie Erwin of Kentwood and a son Gregory Tate Erwin and wife Miranda McDaniel Erwin of Sugar Land, Texas. Frank is preceded in death by a grandaughter Allison Lorraine Penny and grandson Thomas Riley Penny Jr. He is survived by three grandchildren, Alexandra Christine Penny Morgan and husband Hugh Emlin Morgan II of Chester, Virginia, Kelsey Marie Erwin of Sugar Land, Texas, and Tyler Enly Erwin of Sugar Land, Texas. He left us with two great grandchildren, Hugh Emlin Morgan III and Riley Lorraine Morgan both of Chester, Virginia. Frank was born in Kentwood, Louisiana in 1935 and graduated Kentwood High School in 1954, He went on to graduate Southeastern Louisiana University in 1959. He was a life long citizen of Kentwood as well as a life long member of the Kentwood First Baptist Church. Frank began his career selling cars for the Lewis Chevrolet company of Kentwood and finished his career with the Shell Oil Company working offshore in the Gulf of Mexico and in the countries of Syria and China. He retired in 1998 and devoted the rest of his life to his lifelong hobby of coon hunting. Frank will be sorely missed by both his family an friends. Visitation at First Baptist Church in Kentwood from 9:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Services conducted by Rev. Darryl Miller. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood, LA. Pallbearers are Percy Taylor, Ray Bergin, Sim Peek, Glen Magee, Vince Estes, Troy Adams, Tyler Erwin, and Brandon Martin. On Friday June 2, 2023, Ronald Henry Ezell, Sr, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 81. Ronald was born in Amite, Louisiana on July 26,1941. He was raised in Ponchatoula, La with his two brothers and three sisters. After graduating in 1959 from Ponchatoula High School, he joined the military to support our country. After serving in the Army, he received his BS degree in Chemistry from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1966, where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. After beginning his career in the food industry in Missouri, he created a life in Laplace, Louisiana and began his career in the chemical industry at Union Carbide. After completing Chemical Engineering courses at the University of Chicago, he was promoted to Senior Engineer. He retired in 2000 to Springfield, LA after 33 years of service.

Shawn is survived by his wife Megan and children Elizabeth (her husband, Jacob); Destiny; Addison; and Liam. He is also survived by his siblings Shannon Hughes (her husband, Mark); Brandon Kelly (his wife, Ashley); and Nicole Kelly (her fiancè, Jordan); his niece Avery-Kate and nephews Alex, Jordan, Jaxon, and Gabriel. He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Gail Kelly and his brother Michael. He loved spending time with family, cooking, camping and tinkering with things. His happy place was his camper and traveling to new places. Shawn has been described by many as being selfless and a dedicated public servant. He had a genuine passion for making his community a better place for all. Shawn was always quick witted and loved to make anyone laugh. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, soon-to-be grandfather, and friend. Shawn was a corporal with the Denham Springs Police Department serving as a Motor Officer. He has been involved in law enforcement for 27 years. Shawn dreamt of being a police officer ever since he was a young child, and truly embodied what it meant to protect and serve. He is the true definition of a Hero. Donations can be made in memory of Corporal Shawn Kelly to the “Behind the Line” organization to continue to offer support for families of first responders.
