Threshold 360, a virtual tour platform for the hospitality and tourism industries, named Shane Whitlatch president and CEO.

Whitlatch brings over 20 years of experience with fast-growing companies to his new role at Tampa-based Threshold 360, which, according to a statement, uses immersive virtual experiences to “increase lead conversion rates, viewer engagement and drive business growth for its customers.”

Companies Whitlatch previously worked for include Olo/Omnivore, CynergisTek, FairWarning and OpenNetwork. At Omnivore, a restaurant technology firm, Whitlatch was chief revenue officer where he led all aspects of sales, marketing, and partnerships, according to a statement. Prior to Omnivore, Whitlatch held several senior leadership roles at FairWarning (Imprivata), where he helped grow it from eight employees to nearly 200 prior to its acquisition by Mainsail Partners and subsequently to Imprivata.

“Shane brings years of demonstrated leadership in focusing teams on creating customer value and growing technology businesses based on delivering increasing value,” Threshold 360 Executive Chairman Jordan Raynor says in the statement. “Under his guidance, Threshold 360’s virtual tour platform will help customers across new industries dramatically increase their online lead conversion rates, sales effectiveness, and online engagement and exposure.”

The company also recently announced Jesse Taylor, with more than 30 years of experience in engineering leadership and technology development, has been appointed vice president of engineering. Taylor most recently held a senior engineering management role at Meta, in the Facebook parent’s Virtual Reality Labs group.

Whitlatch and Taylor, according to the release, “join long-time Threshold 360 leader and COO Will Barrett, adding new experience to a stable and well-established management team at Threshold 360.”

Threshold 360 has a library of over 100,000 locations and over 1 billion views.
