Heritage Insurance Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HRTG), a Tampa-based, super-regional property and casualty insurance holding company, has named Seabreeze Holdings President Paul Whiting to its board of directors, effective immediately.
Whiting, according to a news release, brings a wealth of directorship experience to the role, having previously served as a board member at Sykes Enterprises Inc. and TECO Energy Inc. Since 1997, Whiting has served as president of Seabreeze Holdings Inc., a privately held investment company.
In addition to his new directorship role at Heritage, Whiting, the release states, sits on the boards of The Bank of Tampa and The Tampa Bay Banking Co., serving as chair of the compensation committee as well as serving on the wealth management and directors loan committees. Whiting also serves as a trustee of Academy Prep Foundation and Academy Prep Centers in Lakeland, St. Petersburg and Tampa. The centers offer full-scholarship, private college preparatory middle school education for low-income children.

Heritage’s gross annual revenue grew from $631.56 million in 2021 to $662.46 million in 2022, an increase of nearly 5%.
