When the final four College Football Playoff teams were announced on ESPN, the college football world was thrown into chaos. Florida State was left out despite being undefeated and winning the ACC. Fans and analysts shared their opinions with people coming down on both sides. Some Florida State supporters accused ESPN of influencing the decision and a new report shows evidence that there may have been possible collusion.
🚨 | REPORT: New Evidence shows ESPN crew members potentially knew the College Football Playoff Rankings BEFORE the public 😳

ESPN And The College Football Playoff Committee Colluding?
The report takes a screenshot of Kirk Herbstreit during the final reveal show. The shot is from before the rankings were released but the report points out something in the background. Four helmets are displayed behind Herbstreit and they just so happen to be the four teams that made the playoff. To make matters worse, five days ago, the Florida State helmet was in the same exact spot as the Alabama one. The report accuses ESPN of knowing the results and therefore being able to set up the background correctly.
Not A Great Look
This is probably some wild coincidence but it sure isn’t a great look. Fans and analysts have accused heavy SEC bias and the fact that ESPN has a deal with the SEC makes things worse. It is a really sticky situation because there are a lot of people who benefit from Alabama being in rather than the Seminoles. It will be interesting to see what the fallout of all of this is. While the playoff expands soon, there will always be teams that feel like they got left out.
The next month will be full of debates as we march towards the championship game. Expect a lot of discourse among the college football community.

Da, you leave an unbeaten team out! Just to appease Alabama! WRONG!
ESPN also has a deal with the ACC.
