Known as "The gentleman of Wichita Falls", a special ceremony will be happening in Harold Jones Park this weekend to honor the racing legend. Wichita Falls is home to some awesome racing legends. You have probably seen the name Lloyd Ruby when you driving down Highway 287 and go over the Lloyd Ruby Overpass. However, you may not know all the crazy things this guy did on the racetrack back in the day. He maybe most famous for the endurance races he participated in.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - MSU Texas cyclist Molly Hayes started her cycling career an ocean away from Wichita Falls. Hayes, now a cycling champion with the Mustangs, began cycling in her home country of New Zealand. When a high school teacher asked her if he could send her CV to some American universities, Hayes said she didn’t think much of it.

Everything went the Windthorst Trojans' way against the Archer City Wildcats as the Windthorst Trojans made off with a 28-8 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Thanks in part to a marathon second-set victory, Rider took care of Marist in four sets on Saturday, 3-1. Following a win in the opening set, the Broncs outlasted the Red Foxes 30-28 in the second set, which was intended to go to just 25 points. After flying high against Tyler HEAT last Friday, Westlake Academy came back down to earth. The Westlake Academy Blacksmiths had to suffer through a 61-27 loss at the hands of the Wichita Christian Stars.
