Abandoned North Texas school building catches fire, officials say
DALLAS — Nearly 70 firefighters are battling flames seen coming from an abandoned school building early Sunday morning in southern Dallas. Dallas Fire-Rescue crews responded to the site of the former Maya Angelou High School, at 3313 South Beckley Ave., at about 4:24 a.m. after a passerby reported seeing flames coming from the roof of the multi-story building.
