Man accused of hiding truck set for sheriff's sale
Bloomsburg, Pa. — A Bloomsburg man removed his truck from his property ahead of a sheriff's sale, according to law enforcement. A civil judgement was issued against Timothy J. Hoffman Jr., 51, and his company, H&F Family Construction, court records show. Columbia County Sheriff's Deputy Michael Tkach arrived at Hoffman's Central Road home on July 17 for the sale, but Hoffman wasn't there, he said. Neither was Hoffman's 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck, which was scheduled to be sold that day. Hoffman was charged with defrauding creditors. Docket sheet
