Montgomery, Ala. (WDNews) – Derrick Dearman, the man convicted of killing five people in a shocking ax and gun attack in 2016, will be executed on October 17, 2024. Dearman pleaded guilty to the murders of his then-girlfriend’s family members in Citronelle, Ala., during a violent rampage in their rural home. After the murders, Dearman kidnapped his girlfriend and fled to Mississippi, where he eventually turned himself in to authorities.
