GRANT COUNTY, Wash. -- Deputies began a search on Sunday for a man who went missing while fishing over the weekend, according to Grant County Sheriff's Office. 

A Lincoln County man is dead following a two-vehicle collision in Grant County on Saturday night. The Grant County Sheriff's Office says it happened at around 10 p.m. in the 4000 block of Road U Southeast when 44-year-old Todd Jones of Wilbur rear-ended a tractor trailer truck that was pulling a load of onions and driven by 51-year-old Francisco Figueroa of Warden.

MOSES LAKE - After months of inquiring about it, Simplot remains mum on putting out any official information about its new plant currently under construction near Moses Lake. After its manufacturing tour in Moses Lake last week, the Association of Washington Businesses (AWB) officially broke the news about construction of the 420,000 square foot facility at 2107 Road O. According to the AWB, the processing plant will support 150 new jobs, with a 14-story freezer with a capacity for 65,000 pallets. The plant is reportedly 75% finished, but the timeline for completion and operations have not been disclosed.

Update on Oct.5 at 10:30 p.m. - Road U-Southeast has been reopened and one person is dead after a crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer in rural Warden. According to Grant County Sheriff's Office, the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene after hitting a tractor-trailer that was hauling onions. The deceased driver's family has been notified and the driver of the semi is not hurt.

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- A woman was arrested for hitting a bicyclist with her truck on Thursday, according to Spokane Valley Police Department. 

OTHELLO - Two people have serious injures after they collided with a semi hauling agricultural produce near Othello on Friday.
