SCOTT The Lafayette High Mighty Lions got into a back-and-forth affair with the Sam Houston Broncos but couldn’t finish it late as Sam Houston picked up the 41-34 win. Kevon’te Landry had four total touchdowns for the Lions in the losing effort, but some big drives in the second half from the Broncos offense were the difference in the game.

The first half of the football regular season is coming to an end for Ascension Episcopal School. The Blue Gators are approaching the last game of the first half of the season tonight with a 4-0 record. All games that the Blue Gators have won were not close, with Ascension winning by at least 20 points each game. Their next game during Week 5 of the season is being played at home against North Vermillion High School.
