One of two area Sam’s Clubs preparing for $2 million renovations received its city permit Oct. 1 to proceed. The other remains in review. Each is about 140,000 square feet. The city issued a permit for contractor FMGI Inc. of Woodstock, Georgia, to renovate the Sam’s Club at 300 Busch Drive in North Jacksonville at a project cost of $2.16 million.

Kiss My Gritz, a new Southern-inspired restaurant, is set to hold its grand opening on November 4th, following a soft opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 24th.
