El Paso 5 @ Colorado 1 - Jacob Solano’s natural hat trick in the second period propelled the El Paso Rhinos 5-1 past the Colorado Grit Friday night. Following a scoreless opening period, the Rhinos got things rolling and never looked back, thanks to a pair of goals from Solano in midst of the second. George Poirier would put the Grit within one, before Solano netted his third of the night for the hat trick, furthering El Paso’s lead. Roope Tuomioska and Kyle Arias sealed the deal for the Rhinos in the third, as El Paso came away with the victory. Goaltender Michael Manzi was spectacular in net, padding aside 30/31 in the win.
