(CBS DETROIT) — A man is dead after a shooting on Detroit's west side early Sunday.Detroit police say it happened just before 12:30 a.m. on the 17100 block of Stansbury Avenue. Police don't know what led to the shooting and no arrests have been made. This is the latest in a string of shootings that have taken place on Detroit's west side over the past week. On Tuesday, a 5-year-old girl and a man were shot in the area of Plainview Avenue. Two days after that, three teens were hospitalized after a shooting in the area of Puritan Avenue and Wisconsin Street. It's unknown if any arrests have been made in either of those shootings. 

Detroit Police said the driver of a Chevy Impala struck a green Jaguar. The Jaguar then struck another vehicle. The crash happened on Sunday (10/6) around 2:30 a.m.—in the area of Hoover and Greiner, near Seven Mile.

A fast food chain that some people will drive miles to eat at is set to expand their locations in Michigan. The chain is Schlotzsky's. DETROIT – Police are looking for a 34-year-old man with autism last seen on Detroit’s west side. According to authorities, Antonio Broadnax Jr. was last seen Friday, Oct. 4, near the intersection of Ethel and Leonard streets. Police said he left his residence and has not returned home.

RAISINVILLE TWP., Mich (FOX 2) - Two people, a 43-year-old man from Carleton and a 34-year-old man from Southgate were injured in an Oct. 5 crash in Raisinville Township when they ‘failed to negotiate’ a curve and crash on their motorcycles. The crash happened just before 8 p.m.

CLEVELAND-- The Guardians would jump out to an early advantage in the first after starter Ty Holton failed to record an out, giving up 2 runs, one unearned, before being pulled. He was responsible for the runners on first and third when Reese Olson would enter and give up a three run home run to Lane Thomas on his first pitch thrown, Detroit would quickly trail 5-0. The Tigers would get two on nobody out in the top of the fourth on a walk and base hit, but a ground ball double play from Torkelson put an end to the threat. Olson would quickly settle into his first bullpen appearance, going four innings scoreless after giving up the initial home run. Ty Madden would come on to take his place in the top of the sixth and give up two for a 7-0 Guardians advantage, the last of their scoring.

A Novi woman died when she was run over during a three-car-crash in Wixom. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened on Friday (10/4) around 10:14 a.m., on South Wixom Road near Grand River.
