Yeah, I'll take a chicken sandwich, a side of fries, and a black eye, please. Typically when you roll through the drive-thru window of a fast-food restaurant one of the last things you expect to see is a fight break out, but, that's exactly what happened on Saturday afternoon (October 5) at a restaurant just off Louise Avenue in Sioux Falls.

According to court documents, the alleged crimes began in September of 2016, when the victim was just 8 years old, and continued for nearly two years until May of 2018.

HULL—A 34-year-old Hull man was arrested about 2:25 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, on a charge of first-offense operating while under the influence. The arrest of Ulrich Smith stemmed from an investigation of a noise complaint on the 1000 block of Walnut Street in Hull, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.

Alton, Iowa — A Le Mars woman was taken to a hospital after an accident near Alton on Friday. The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just before 2:00 p.m., 63-year-old Evan DeHaan of Alton was driving a 2007 John Deere farm tractor pulling two loaded Demco grain wagons northbound on Highway 60, two miles south of Alton. A Sioux Falls woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash Friday on Interstate 90. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2018 Honda Pilot operated by Paul Gan Wong, 75, of Sioux Falls was westbound on I-90 near milepost 10 when it left the roadway and struck the bridge railing.
