On March 23, the State Employee Federal Credit Union (SEFCU) contacted the New York State Police to report that they had been the victim of Felony Lane Gang style larcenies in the Town of Cicero and in the City of Syracuse.
After an investigation and collaborative effort by the New York State Police, Syracuse Police Department, SEFCU staff, and the Town of Colonie Police Department, a suspect was quickly identified and subsequently arrested on March 24.
Investigators have arrested Erin L Hilliard, 38, from Syracuse for two counts of identity theft in the first degree, one count of grand larceny in the third degree, two counts of forgery in the second degree, two counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, one count of possession of forged instrument in the second degree, one count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, two counts of criminal impersonation in the second degree, one county of conspiracy in the fifth degree, two counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and two counts of unlawful possession of personal ID in the third degree.
Hilliard was arraigned and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center.
