The new Brooklyn Pickle in Utica is almost ready to open!
Utilizing the perfect combination of industrial and cool that Utica has to offer, Brooklyn Pickle is located at 600 State Street, in the former Utica Steam Cotton Building.
On April 17 at 10:30 a.m., Brooklyn Pickle Utica will celebrate its grand opening with a CenterState CEO Ribbon Cutting.
Mayor Robert Palmieri and representation from the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce will be present.
“Mayor Palmieri was very influential in pitching Utica, and we’re thrilled to be a part of Utica’s resurgence. It’s such a great opportunity for Brooklyn Pickle and for the people of Utica, as we’re right across from the hospital, underneath 64 condo units, in the heart of downtown with plenty of parking; over 200 spaces directly in the rear of the building and across the street from that!” Brooklyn Pickle President, Craig Kowadla said.
The menu, Kowadla explained, “will be very similar to our three Syracuse locations. In addition to giant sandwiches, subs, soups and desserts, customers will enjoy daily specials including Friday mac-and-cheese and, of course, Brooklyn Pickle’s signature pickles. Plus, Utica will be the first location to sell beer.”
Customers can also expect a daily specials board, specials posted on Facebook and Instagram and the option of calling as well. Orders can be placed in-person, by phone 315-624-0300, or on their website.
In business since 1975, the Utica location will be Brooklyn Pickle’s fourth location. The three Syracuse locations, each with its own personality, earned “Best Sandwich” by the Syracuse community for the 2022 CNY Reader’s Choice Awards.
Kowadla will also be opening a North Carolina location this summer.
