SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
Around 3:23 a.m. on Monday, Syracuse Police responded to a call about a suspicious package that was delivered to the Syracuse City School District Office at 725 Harrison Street.

Officers spoke with school officials who indicated they had indicated the package contained a white powdery substance.
The substance was investigated by the Syracuse Fire Department Hazmat Team and was determined to be harmless.

No injuries were reported. An investigation is active and ongoing.
