Sweetwater Police Investigating Student/Teacher Relationship Allegation

SWEETWATER, TX – The Sweetwater Police Department is currently investigating a situation regarding improper relationship between an educator and a student.

According to the Sweetwater Police Department, on May 15, 2023, a School Resource Officer was alerted by Sweetwater ISD Administration of an allegation regarding a faculty member improperly communicating with a student.

The Sweetwater Police Department is currently conducting an investigation to determine if a criminal offense occurred.

No further information will be released at this time.
