Four arrested on multiple charges in connection with Albany burglary
ALBANY, Ore. – Police arrested four suspects last week in connection with a burglary at a self-storage facility in Albany, authorities said. Albany police officials said they received a trespass complaint from employees at the Storage Depot on Southwest Ferry Street at about 9:04 p.m. on September 20. Employees told police that a Nissan SUV was inside the facility trying to get out, and when an employee went to investigate several individuals climbed the fence and ran away from the site, authorities said. Police said that responding officers and the employee discovered that a lock had been cut on a storage unit and an employee witnessed two people leaving the storage area.

LEBANON, Ore. – Firefighters responded early on Saturday morning to a carport fire that spread to nearby vegetation, according to the Lebanon Fire District. Lebanon fire officials said they responded early on September 23 to a carport burning in the area of Brewster and Berlin roads. Responding firefighters arrived to find a 10-by-20-foot shed fully involved in fire that spread to nearby brush, authorities said. District officials said that firefighters quickly attacked and suppressed the structure and brush fire and remained on scene to mop up the area. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but the site is known to be used as shelter, fire officials said.
