Philadelphia has some of the most iconic food in the United States, including the world-famous Philly cheesesteak. But did you know the average person in the state spends $2431 dining out a year?

I normally don’t write about crime because it’s scary and depressing and I love living and working in my community. However, the increase in violent crimes in the Philadelphia Tri-State Area is getting out of control. I’m making a point to say Tri-State area versus just Philadelphia because Trenton and Wilmington have had a recent uptick and sadly Sgt. Fitzgerald’s senseless and brutal murder involved a Bucks County man who was stealing a car.

According to the New York Post, Philadelphia is announcing a special trial program that will pay pregnant women $1000 per month. On March 20, 2023, officials announced that the Philadelphia Department of Public Health had received contributions that would support a pilot program focused on reducing infant mortality and the racial disparities involved.

The ongoing financial issues of the discount retailer Tuesday Morning have led to them selling everything in the store- including fixtures and equipment. Last month I wrote an article about the discount retailer known as Tuesday Morningclosing six of its stores in Pennsylvania.

Serial Offender Banned: NJ Transit Takes Decisive Action to Protect Employees and Passengers from Lewd Acts. Washington Twp, Morris County, NJ - A Superior Court Judge recently granted NJ TRANSIT's request to suspend the riding privileges of a serial offender for one year. Sean Guinyard, 36, of Washington Township, had been charged with at least seven separate lewd acts directed towards female bus operators on NJ TRANSIT buses over the past two years.

It starts with a lack of resources and support. Many people are pushed out of their communities when developers and investors buy properties and price the residents out of their own neighborhoods.
