Harmony Market in Linda to offer free access to healthy produce
Three area organizations have joined forces to host a community market in Linda that seeks to provide free access to healthy and fresh produce for residents. Called Harmony Market, this new community event is the product of collaboration between Blue Zones Project Yuba Sutter, Harmony Health and the Yuba-Sutter Food Bank. It is scheduled to launch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 21 with three more markets planned for the third Tuesday of each month through August, organizers said.
Marysville bicycling event set for next week during Thursdays on 3rd
May is National Bike Month, and to celebrate Blue Zones Project Yuba Sutter will help present an upcoming bicycling event called the Community Cruise & Bike Rodeo. The free event will be held from 4-7 p.m. on May 23 at the Thursdays on 3rd community market in downtown Marysville – a weekly gathering of vendors, food trucks and music that is held every Thursday at the corner of 3rd and D streets.

City of Marysville implements measures aimed at reducing highway traffic on residential streets
MARYSVILLE -- A Caltrans project to widen Highway 70 could add to the already crazy Marysville traffic and residents are growing increasingly annoyed, calling their local roads a makeshift highway.
