Sinkhole causes partial lane closure in Ellsworth
ELLSWORTH, Maine (WABI) - A warning to those traveling through Ellsworth. A sinkhole opened up Monday morning causing a lane closure. A portion of the right lane on High Street between Pizza Hut and the first entrance to the Hannaford plaza, near the new Camden National Bank, is closed, according to a social media post by the City of Ellsworth.

Liberty Street, Railroad Avenue intersection to become an all-way stop
DEXTER — Drivers approaching the Liberty Street and Railroad Avenue intersection from every direction will soon have to come to a halt when it becomes a four-way stop. The Maine Department of Transportation is redesigning the intersection to reduce crashes and improve safety because homes are nearby. Currently, Liberty Street has stop signs but Railroad Avenue drivers have the right of way to go. After the change they will be stopping as well.
