USTA takes over Surprise Tennis Complex

Tennis season has arrived in Surprise, and the will welcome approximately 3,000 players competing in several United States Tennis Association League National Championships this fall.

Play began with the USTA Southwest Sectionals this weekend. The winners of this event will secure an automatic bid to the USTA League National Championship event held later in the fall, representing the Southwest region.

Next up is the USTA League National Championships, the largest adult competitive tennis league in the country. Top teams from local league play earn the opportunity to compete, showcasing their skills on a national stage.

The schedule for the upcoming championships is as follows:

• Sept. 29-Oct. 1 Adult 18 & Over 3.5
• Oct. 6-8 Adult 18 & Over 4.5
• Oct. 13-15 Adult 18 & Over 3.0



• Oct. 20-22 Adult 40 & Over 4.0
• Oct. 27-29 Mixed 18 & Over 6.0, 8.0 & 10.0
• Nov. 3-5 Mixed 18 & Over 7.0/9.0

All these events will take place at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex, 14469 W. Paradise Lane. This state-of-the-art facility is renowned for its top-notch courts and amenities, making it the perfect host for these thrilling championship matches.
