Social media posts over the last few weeks claiming “near-tragic crimes” were unfounded after investigations by the Conway Police Department, police said Friday. Conway Police Chief Dale Long issued a statement after the department has investigated social media posts of “disturbing, personal, near-tragic crimes against some of our most vulnerable residents.” But the posts claiming police were called at the scene were untrue.
