Pure domination.

That's how you can describe Game 2 for the Golden Knights on Monday night, as Vegas cruised to a 7-2 win over Florida, taking a commanding 2-0 series lead in the 2023 Stanley Cup Final.

Jonathan Marchessault and Brett Howden each scored twice for the Golden Knights, while Michael Amadio, Alec Martinez and Nicolas Roy also lit the lamp for the Western Conference champions.

The Golden Knights chased Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky out of Game 2, as the Russian netminder allowed four goals on 13 shots. It marked the first time all postseason Bobrovsky lost back-to-back games, and he has allowed eight goals through the first two contests of the Stanley Cup Final.

With the series shifting to South Florida for Games 3 and 4, the Panthers have their backs against the wall. Only five teams have ever come back from down 0-2 in a Stanley Cup Final and won the series.
