SUNDOWN, TX – The #13 ranked Floydada Lady Winds (16-4, 5-0) traveled to play the Sundown Roughettes on Tuesday in a district game.
The Lady Winds would go up 5-1 after the first two innings.
After scoring four runs in the top of the third, the Lady Winds would extend their lead to 11-3 at the end of the fourth inning.
Sundown did their best to cut down the Floydada lead, but the Lady Winds were able to hold off the late push and secure the 15-10 victory over the Roughettes.
With the win on Tuesday, the Lady Winds moved to 5-0 in district play.
