Second man charged in $40,000 chicken theft in Sumter County

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) —
Another man has been arrested after being connected to the theft of thousands of dollars in chicken breast from a Sumter County poultry plant earlier this year.

Antonio Blackwell was arrested back on May 22, after Sumter County deputies say he and Jeremy McFadden allegedly stole $40,000 worth of boneless chicken breast from the Pilgrim's Pride poultry plant in Sumter.
Blackwell was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released on a $20,000 bond.
