Suspects in Pilgrim Pride chicken theft in Sumter charged

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)— Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says two men wanted for stealing $40,000 worth of Boneless Chicken Breast from Pilgrim’s Pride have been arrested.

Jeremy McFadden, 37, and Antonio Blackwell, 30, were each charged with grand larceny.

McFadden surrendered to investigators on May 26 while Blackwell was arrested on May 22.

Both suspects were transported to the Sumter Co. Sheriff’s Office Detention Center where they were released on a $20,000 bond each.
