Marianna man sent to prison for molesting teen
MARIANNA, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Marianna man found guilty of molesting a teen was sentenced to prison on Tuesday, according to the State Attorney’s Office. On Mar. 25, a jury found 49-year-old Nathan Robbert Johnson guilty of lewd and lascivious molestation, the charge stemming from where a victim was molested by Johnson in early 2022.
Liberty County shuts out Cottondale, advances to region final
BRISTOL, Fla. (WMBB) — The Liberty County softball team shut out Cottondale 9-0 in the Class 1A Region 2 Semifinal on Thursday night. New Waste Management facility brings more recycling options to Northwest Florida
A new Waste Management recycling facility opening next month in Fort Walton Beach could be a game changer for recycling in Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties. Okaloosa County Commissioners voted unanimously last week to terminate their contract with Emerald Coast Utilities Authority (ECUA) and enter into a contract with Waste Management to handle recycling in the county.
