At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, the Prince George's County Police Department were called to the 4100 block of Suitland Road, where there was a reported shooting at the Washington National Cemetery in Suitland.
More than an hour later, at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, police confirmed that the shooting is now being investigated as fatal after at least one person died from their injuries.
More information is expected to be released as the investigation continues.
