Crews battle large fire at Stuart manufacturing facility

Martin County Fire Rescue battled a large fire at a Stuart manufacturing site Friday night.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office said that around 9 p.m., crews were dispatched to Hog Technologies on SE Commerce Avenue and SE Market Place.
"When they showed up on the south end of the building, flames were coming from the roof," said Chief John Budensiek. "Smoke has been coming out of every orifice of this building."
Investigators say the building was closed at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
Crews are expected to be stationed at the scene Saturday to monitor hotspots.
The owner of Hog Technologies was at the scene Friday with some words for the community.
"First of all I’m extremely grateful for our first responders they responded so quickly and continued to fight this fire and I’m just really grateful for the people of Hog, we’re a resilient bunch were a very unlikely local success story, and were successful because of the spirit of these men and women that are a part of hog were fighters and from the ashes, we will rise."

Deputies believe that everyone in the building has evacuated.
At this time, there is extensive damage to the building.
The sheriff advises everyone to avoid the area.
