Man accused of stealing delivery truck alcohol during retail theft

STROUD TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for a man who they say stole a 1.3-gallon bag of alcohol from a gas station.

On April 19 around 2:00 p.m., officers were called to Stop and Go Exxon on West Main Street in Stroud Township for a retail theft.

Police say the man pictured purchased an item from the store when a delivery truck driver entered with a hand truck full of merchandise. The suspect then left the store and stole a 1.3-gallon bag of Twist Rocket Pop, Stroud Area Police stated.

Officers described the suspect as a man with light brown hair, a beard, and around 6 ft tall. He had on a gray/green baseball cap, black jacket, gray sweatshirt, dark cargo shorts, and brown hiking boots/shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip on the Stroud Area Regional Police website .
