VALENTE PITTSBURGH’S ACTION. ACTION NEWS 4. MIKE, THANK YOU. ALSO IN WASHINGTON COUNTY, A SIMPLE GAME OF BINGO BROUGHT FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS TOGETHER YESTERDAY. THAT’S DOWN SOUTH STRABANE FIRE DEPARTMENT HOSTED A BINGO FUNDRAISER FOR THE FAMILIES OF JUSTIN CRAWFORD AND THE VEGA SHEETZ. A CRASH LAST WEEKEND TOOK BOTH OF THEIR LIVES. SOUTH STRABANE FIRST RESPONDERS HELPED ON THE SCENE THAT DAY. THEY STEPPED IN THEN AND WANTED TO STEP IN NOW TO HELP. WHAT WE LEARNED AFTER THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED IS AS QUICKLY AS THAT NIGHT WAS THAT A LOT OF OUR MEMBERS IN THIS DEPARTMENT HAD SOME TYPE OF CONNECTION TO ONE OF THE KIDS. AND AGAIN, THAT JUST IT FURTHER FUELED THE FACT THAT WE HAD TO DO SOMETHING. THE TWO WERE JUST 17 YEARS OLD AND STUDENTS AT TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL. THEY DIED AFTER THEI

A simple game of bingo brought friends and neighbors together on Saturday. The South Strabane Fire Department hosted a bingo fundraiser for the families of Justin Crawford and Nevaeh Sheets. A crash last weekend took both of their lives.South Strabane first responders helped on the scene that day. They stepped in then and wanted to step in now to help."What we learned after this incident occurred, as quickly as that night, was that a lot of our members in this department had some type of connection to one of the kids," said South Strabane Township's Fire Chief Jordan Cramer. "That just further fueled the fact that we have to do something." Nevaeh and Justin were both 17 years old and students at Trinity High School. They died after their car went off East Maiden Street and struck a tree.
