Stoughton police told NBC10 Boston that Anh Kieu had been taken into custody shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday at his Quincy home without incident. He is facing multiple charges in connection to the May 24 crash involving a car, an SUV and a pickup truck that sent five people to the hospital.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested days after the shocking scene that unfolded last week in Stoughton, Massachusetts, in which multiple people were hospitalized after a road rage shooting and serious car crash that all began with an encounter at a convenience store a town over in Canton.
Stoughton police told NBC10 Boston that Anh Kieu had been taken into custody shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday at his Quincy home without incident. He is facing multiple charges in connection to the May 24 crash involving a car, an SUV and a pickup truck that sent five people to the hospital.
Police had said Thursday they believed someone in a black car fired a gun, striking the driver of a white SUV, while the pickup truck was incidentally involved in the crash and was not part of the shooting.

According to police, the entire incident started when Kieu encountered a man at a 7-Eleven on Washington Street in Canton around 9 p.m. Wednesday. While in the store, Kieu allegedly pointed a gun at the man, the victim told police.
The victim then ran to his friend’s car outside -- a black Nissan Altima -- and told the other three people inside what had happened. The Altima driver left the parking lot, at which point Kieu -- driving a white Cadillac -- began following the group, police said.
Fearing that they were being chased, the Altima driver was speeding to get away from Kieu, creating what police called "a dangerous environment for everyone on the road around them."
When they reached the intersection of Pearl and Central streets in Stoughton, witnesses told police that Kieu crossed the double yellow line and into the opposite lane of traffic. Kieu allegedly pulled up alongside the Altima and pointed a revolver at the four people inside the car.
Fearing for his life, the Altima driver, who has a valid license to carry and a properly registered firearm, yelled for his friends to get down and then fired seven rounds into the Cadillac, striking Kieu one time, police said.
The Altima fled the scene as Kieu continued to follow them, according to police. The Altima driver was scared, as Fkieu had already allegedly pointed a gun at his car and continued to pursue them. Police say this is ultimately what led to the crash at the intersection of Plain and West streets.
Police say they found a black pellet gun, an SNR 357 revolver, inside Kieu's Cadillac.
Kieu has been charged with four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violations. He's being held on $20,000 cash bail and is expected to be arraigned Tuesday in Stoughton District Court. Attorney information was not immediately available.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, however police say they do not anticipate filing charges against the Altima driver who shot Kieu.
